Originally established in October 1987, APH Contractors is a civil engineering contractor performing works associated with all aspects of civil construction, although are not involved in the design aspects of such contracts. APH Contractors has been in business for 21 years and is owned by its Managing Director, Frank Kenny. APH Contractors has an annual turnover in excess of fifty million dollars. This coupled with controlled growth is a testimony to our standing and creditability in this demanding and highly competitive industry.

The team at APH Contractors consists of Managing Director, Frank Kenny, who has over 30 years experience, a Project Manager, a Transport Manager, a Human Resource and Safety Manager, an Accountant, and five Administration staff. Our onsite crew consists of eight Site Supervisors, two Surveying teams, ten drainage crews, six block laying crews and over 80 plant operators, labourers and truck drivers. A team of seven experienced mechanical trade people ensure all our plant equipment is regularly serviced and maintained.
In addition to statutory responsibilities, APH Contractors’ management have the authority, responsibility and accountability to provide and maintain, so far as is reasonably practicable, a healthy and safe working environment, using safe work procedures and practices that meet or surpass legislative requirements and Australian Standards where applicable, and with proven industry standards.
The requirements of Australian Standard ISO 9001, AS 4801 and ISO 14001 form the basis of the APH Contractors Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Assurance System. The contents of the Quality Manual describe how it is designed to ensure that all the client and relevant regulatory requirements are recognized and that consistent control is established, implemented and maintained. APH Contractors will continually review its Quality System in order to comply with the Australian Standard ISO 9001, AS 4801 and ISO 14001.
